Condition & Description came from local violin shop owner in Los Angeles.
Violin good condition, some scratches & dings, some signs of wear from where hand held it, needs to be restrung, 4 strings, some chips to the body. Crack in the back, 3” long
Bow needs to be restrung. Bow mother of Pearl & please note the white that the mother of Pearl is on, it is a bone frog. Bow is German. Painted Brazilian wood so it looks like snake
Case rough condition, broken handle, restraining strap to hold violin inside, works, hardware inside says GSB. Lined with black & red felt. Dusty, Dirty. Says Mortimer Swartz (my uncle) in it. Inside flap of case says Factory No 444 9th Dist. PA. #50
Comes with Hidersine Violin resin #IV Made in England, with resin inside in it’s own little cloth
In separate cloth, Art Craft Rosin, made by Kaplan Musical String Co. Dark #7, brown felt pouch
Something with 3 prongs, wood, cut out down the center
Chrome tuning fork Germany, can’t read logo A #440
