The name "White Buffalo Turquoise" was given to this rock from the Otteson's who are very experience in mining Turquoise and have been doing so for generations White Buffalo mine is located in Tonopah, Nevada. The Otteson's named this material "White Buffalo Turquoise"  even though it is actually Dolomite which is what they sell it as!
